DUBORA / LEGAL

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 16, 2026 · Last updated: August 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sharklish Inc. (“Dubora”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, processes, and protects information when you use the Dubora Chrome extension, Android or iOS application, websites, and related services.

Information we collect and process

Account and authentication information

We may process your name, email address, account or user ID, password hash, authentication tokens and related account-security information. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

Device and security information

We may process device identifiers, platform, device name or model, application or extension version, device-binding information, authentication-token metadata, timestamps, IP address, security events, and diagnostic information needed to authenticate users, protect accounts, enforce device limits, and operate the service.

Website and tab audio content

When you explicitly start a dubbing session in the Dubora Chrome extension, Dubora captures audio from the browser tab selected by you. Dubora does not capture tab audio merely because the extension is installed. Audio capture is used to provide the live dubbing function requested by the user.

Mobile audio

On supported mobile platforms, Dubora may receive audio captured through operating-system facilities such as Android MediaProjection or iOS ReplayKit after the user initiates and authorizes capture.

Translation and automatic language detection

Captured audio, selected language settings, and related audio data may be processed to transcribe speech, automatically identify whether the source speech is Persian or another supported language, determine the requested translation direction, generate translated speech, and return real-time dubbed audio.

Audio may be transmitted as streaming audio or PCM/audio data to Dubora servers and AI service providers that perform the requested language detection, transcription, translation, or audio generation.

Usage, plan, and transaction information

We may process plan type, subscription status, remaining or consumed usage time, trial or complimentary-access status, purchase and transaction references, and related account records. Payment-card details are handled by applicable payment providers and are not intended to be collected directly by the Dubora Chrome extension or mobile application.

Support and diagnostics

If you contact us, we may process the information you provide in your support request. We may also process basic error, crash, performance, connection, and security logs necessary to troubleshoot and maintain Dubora.

How we use information

Audio processing and retention

Real-time audio is processed for the purpose of providing the dubbing service requested by the user. Dubora does not intend to maintain a permanent library of captured browser-tab or mobile-session audio.

Audio used for live processing is intended to be ephemeral and discarded after the relevant processing is completed, except where temporary retention is technically necessary to complete a request or where retention is required for security, support, fraud prevention, or applicable legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

We may transmit information to service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate Dubora. These may include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, authentication services, payment processors, customer-support services, and AI providers used for language detection, transcription, translation, and generation of dubbed speech.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use captured audio, account information, or browsing-related content for targeted advertising.

Chrome extension and Limited Use

The Dubora Chrome extension uses permissions and user data only to provide and improve its user-facing live dubbing functionality, account authentication, security, language detection, usage management, and related support functions.

Dubora's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and the Chrome extension complies with applicable Google and Chrome Web Store user-data and Limited Use requirements. We do not use or transfer such data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to Dubora's disclosed functionality.

Dubora does not sell Chrome extension user data to third parties.

Browser activity

Dubora is not designed to create or sell a history of the websites you visit. Access to a browser tab and its audio is used only when necessary to provide functionality initiated by the user, such as starting a dubbing session.

Security and retention

We use encrypted network connections, authentication controls, device controls, and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Account, subscription, usage, transaction, and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Your choices and account deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible account information. Account-deletion requests can be initiated at dubora.sharklish.com/delete-account or by contacting Sharklish2000@gmail.com.

You can stop an active audio-capture or dubbing session at any time using Dubora or the applicable operating-system/browser controls.

Children and international processing

Dubora is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where our infrastructure and service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Dubora evolves or as legal, technical, or platform requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version.
